4based: subscriptions for creators and fans

4based is a subscription platform for creators and their fans. Adult content is allowed; creators and fans must both be 18 or older.

Creators earn money from subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, paid chat messages and tips; fans follow, subscribe to and support the creators they like. The app is a web app (PWA) available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese and Czech.

For creators

• Only verified creators can sell content: age and identity are checked before a creator can offer anything for sale.
• Monthly subscriptions: fans subscribe to unlock a creator's subscription area.
• Pay-per-view: single posts (including posts with several images or videos) and audio messages can be sold individually.
• Paid chat: creators can set a price per message, with a separate price for their subscribers, and sell content in chat.
• Tips from fans.
• Tools: post scheduling, a statistics dashboard and discount campaigns for selected fan segments.
• Referral programme: with their unique links, creators earn 10% of the revenue that fans they refer spend with other creators, and 5% of the revenue of creators they refer.
• Payouts by bank transfer or Paxum.

For fans

• Follow creators for free, subscribe to them, or unlock single posts.
• Discover creators by category: women, men, and trans and non-binary creators.
• Subscriptions are billed directly to a payment method such as a credit card.
• Single posts, paid chat messages and tips are paid with credits, which fans buy with credit card and other payment methods.
